I am always happy to speak with writing groups about several topics. I have done workshops both virtually with the ACFW At-Home Conference as well as the ACFW DFW virtual mini conference in 2025. Below are the topics I have presentations for, but I am always willing to discuss other areas of writing.
Marketing Outside the Lines
A condensed overview of ways to market your book from your newsletter to social media to podcasts, blog tours, launch teams, and much more.
Going Deeper with POV

Using Modern-Day Idols to Crate Flawed Characters
No reader likes a perfect hero or heroine. A flawed character is a relatable character. Using the modern-day idol of power, control, security, comfort, and recognition, we’ll examine how each of these idols can play out in the lives as our characters and what happens when your character removes that idol from his or her life.
Level Up Your Instagram or Other Social Media
From setup to what to post, we look at how social media can connect you to readers and how to make using social media a little less daunting. We’ll talk about posts, carousels, stories, reels, hashtags, batch scheduling, and more.
Am I a Fraud? Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
Imposter Syndrome is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, accomplishments, or worth, and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a “fraud,” despite clear evidence of their competence or success. The syndrome is especially prevalent in creatives. In this workshop, will discuss different ways people might experience imposter syndrome as well practical ways to combat the negative thoughts from both a creative and a spiritual viewpoint.
